Martijn Mulders is an accomplished physicist with extensive experience in research and education. Currently serving as the Director of CERN Schools of Physics since October 2005, Martijn also holds the position of Research Physicist and previously acted as the Deputy Director of the same institution. Prior to joining CERN, Martijn worked as a Research Associate at Fermilab from October 2001 to September 2005 and began the academic career as a PhD student at NIKHEF from March 1996 to September 2001. Martijn Mulders earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Amsterdam between 1996 and 2001 and holds an Engineering degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, completed in 1996.
