Christine Gabardo

Christine Gabardo has extensive work experience in research and development roles. Christine is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of CERT Systems Inc since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from January 2017 to January 2021. Christine also worked as an NSERC Graduate Student Research Assistant at McMaster University from September 2011 to August 2016. In addition, they have experience as a Visiting Researcher at Fraunhofer IZI in September 2015. Christine also has experience as an NSERC Undergraduate Summer Research Assistant at McMaster University in the summer of 2010 and as a Summer Research Student at McMaster University in the summer of 2009.

Christine Gabardo completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued their higher education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from McMaster University. Their doctoral studies took place from 2011 to 2016.
