Fatma Ismail

Fatma Ismail is a highly experienced research scientist currently employed at CERT Systems Inc as a Research Scientist III since April 2023. Previously, Fatma completed a PhD scholarship at McMaster University from June 2019 to May 2023, after serving as a Research Assistant at the Canada Center for Electron Microscopy from August 2019 to August 2020 and at Zewail City of Science and Technology from March 2013 to December 2018. Fatma also gained international experience as a Visiting Research Scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Research Intern at KAUST between March 2016 and June 2015, respectively. Earlier research work included a position as a Researcher at Nanotech Egypt for photovoltaics in 2012. Fatma holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Faculty of Engineering at McMaster University and a Master's Degree in Nanotechnology from Cairo University.
