Julie Godefroid

Julie Godefroid is a skilled research engineer with extensive experience in the development of innovative construction materials, particularly in gypsum drywall fire resistance and insulation technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer II at CertainTeed since April 2023, Julie leads projects focused on sustainable initiatives and material formulation. Previously, in roles such as R&D Project Leader at Saint-Gobain Research Paris and Research Scientist at Saint-Gobain, Julie has made significant contributions to the gypsum, insulation, and mortar sectors. Julie holds a PhD from Saint-Gobain Research Provence, with research centered on the physical-chemistry of complex fluids, and has completed multiple internships across various industries, including cosmetics and food.
