Stephanie Beat

Stephanie joined Certas Energy in June 2020 as Head of Legal and Compliance.

She has spent over 16 years as an in-house lawyer and holds an LLB in Law (University of Sheffield) and LPC (Chester College of Law) and completed her legal training with law firm Pinsent Masons in Leeds before progressing as a commercial lawyer with Eversheds in Manchester.

Stephanie spent 13 years supporting and leading legal and compliance functions in retail at N Brown Group Plc and critical services sectors at JLA Limited, developing specialisms in commercial contracts, consumer law, data protection, consumer credit, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law.
