Scott Gillies

Scott Gillies is an experienced wind turbine electrical service technician currently employed at Ecotricity since October 2018. Additionally, Scott has been a wind turbine service technician at WINDTEX ENGINEERING since November 2017 and a renewable inspection engineer at CERTEX UK since March 2017, conducting statutory inspections across various UK and European assets. As a WTG service engineer at Skyform Wind since October 2014, Scott manages offshore wind farm operations, performing LOLER lift inspections and maintenance on SkyMan lifts and offshore turbines. Scott is also advancing through safety-specific qualifications in the wind industry at Maersk Training, while previously working as a wind turbine technician with ALL NRG A/S. Scott holds a Foundation Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Newcastle College, completed between 2012 and 2014.
