Vanessa Ohta currently serves as the VP of Operations at Certified Employee-Owned since October 2023. Previously, Vanessa held the position of Senior Director of Operations and Delivery at SV Academy from October 2022 to May 2023. Vanessa's extensive experience at General Assembly spanned eight years, during which roles included Senior Director of Faculty, Director of Online Delivery, Senior Manager of Instruction and Operations, Program Manager, and Education Programs Producer. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at Stanford Law School and various positions at Columbia University, including Program Coordinator for Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences and Research Assistant at the Center for Research on Education, Engagement, and Development. Vanessa began career development as a Counselor at Camp Unalayee from 2004 to 2009. Vanessa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and American Studies from Columbia University in 2010.
