Emi Byrnes

Emi Byrnes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career as a Research Technician at the University of Washington, where they studied plant molecular biology and managed laboratory materials. They then moved on to the Allen Institute for Brain Science, starting as a Research Associate I before being promoted to Research Associate II and eventually becoming a Laboratory Supervisor. At the Allen Institute, Emi worked with a team of laboratory associates, trained new members, and helped scale up new processes for high throughput platforms. Following their time at the Allen Institute, Emi joined Certified Inspection Services, Inc. as the Head of Operations and later became the President of the company, responsible for administrative management and strategic development. They also served as a Board Member at Discovery Montessori.

Emi Byrnes obtained a Master Brewer's Certificate from the University of California, Davis in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from the University of Washington between 1998 and 2002.
