DJ (Michael) St. John, MBA

Michael St. John, MBA has a diverse work experience ranging from project management to assessment and security roles. DJ (Michael) started their career at Purple Gorilla Graphics as a Print Shop Manager, where they were responsible for maintaining an industrial-sized vinyl printer and coordinating with the installation team for successful vehicle wrapping. After that, they joined Western Governors University (WGU) and took on various roles such as Assessment Delivery Coordinator/Lead Proctor, Assessment Maintenance Coordinator, and Manager of Assessment Systems & Publication. In these roles, they managed assessment publication projects, coordinated with remote testing sites, and ensured the integrity and reliability of WGU's assessment and course publication systems. DJ (Michael) also implemented security protocols, monitored systems for breaches, and upheld the security standards of WGU. Recently, Michael worked at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business as a Project Manager, overseeing projects in the company's Testing Services department and supporting global projects for the PMO and the entire organization. DJ (Michael) developed project plans, monitored project status, and reported to stakeholders and departmental leadership.

DJ (Michael) St. John, MBA completed their education at Western Governors University. In 2008, they began their undergraduate studies and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management. Continuing their education, DJ pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University, completing their degree in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, DJ St. John has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. DJ (Michael) achieved the PMI Project Management Ready™ certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2022. In September 2022, they obtained the Inclusive Learning Experience Explorer certification from Pearson.

DJ St. John also holds multiple certifications in project management. In November 2018, they completed the Project Management Foundations: Budgets course at Lynda.com. In the same year and month, they obtained certifications in Project Management Foundations: Communication, Procurement, and Quality. Additionally, DJ completed courses in various project management areas such as Change, Schedules, and Teams in September 2018.

Furthermore, DJ St. John has acquired certifications specializing in communication and business writing. These include certifications in Business Etiquette: Phone, Email, and Text; Communication within Teams; Crisis Communication; Editing and Proofreading Made Simple; Writing in Plain English; Business Writing Strategies; Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact; Writing Email; and Writing Formal Business Letters and Emails. All of these certifications were obtained in 2018.

Lastly, in February 2018, DJ St. John earned the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business.
