Liz Weeks has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Liz began their career as a System Engineer at Compaq in 1991, where they wrote software specific to new Compaq hardware. In 1994, they joined Novell Inc as a Software Engineer, where they primarily worked on maintenance of Java-based products. Liz then moved on to Lumension Security in 2007, serving as a Scrum Master and facilitating Agile development processes. Liz supported multiple sprint teams and played a role in implementing the Scrum methodology. From 2011 to 2012, Liz worked at Fidelity Investments as a Software Development Manager and Scrum Master, managing a team of Java developers and coordinating their move to the Apache Camel Framework. In 2014, they joined Bluehost.com as a Software Project Manager and ScrumMaster, collaborating with web developers to deliver up-to-date web content. Lastly, Liz worked at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in 2015 as a Project Manager. In this role, they managed schedules and tasks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Liz Weeks began their education in 1984 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Liz completed their studies in this field in 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, Liz attended Utah Valley University, where they pursued a general education program. In total, Liz has received two Bachelor of Science degrees, both specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
