Jamie Matthews

Jamie Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jamie began their career as a Web Designer and Flash Developer at Webstar UK in 2000. Jamie later joined Bombcircle Design, where they worked as a Web Designer and Programmer until 2008, specializing in dynamic and striking websites and user interfaces.

In 2004, Jamie took on the role of Technical Support and Systems Maintenance at Pilkington Group, where they played a key role in the successful transfer and migration of computer systems. At Sigmer Technologies, Jamie worked as a Developer from 2008 to 2010, contributing to various web application development projects for international charities and universities.

Since 2010, Jamie has been involved in co-founding and leading innovative tech companies. Jamie was the Technical Co-Founder at DabApps, responsible for technology standards and development strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering Strategy at Certn, a role they assumed in 2022.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated expertise in software development, content management systems, system architecture, and project management. Jamie is known for ensuring high-quality software and has served clients of all sizes.

Jamie Matthews obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester between 2003 and 2006. Subsequently, Jamie pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems at the University of Sussex from 2007 to 2008.
