Cristian Garabet

Cristian Garabet is a highly experienced professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Technical Director at certSIGN since February 2006. Responsibilities include coordinating ICT infrastructure operations and development, managing information security, conducting risk management, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC. Cristian also provides consultancy to external clients on security risk analysis and audits, and has contributed to the design and implementation of cybersecurity services. Previously, Cristian held the position of Information Security Specialist at Vodafone Romania, where responsibilities included the design, implementation, and administration of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001. Cristian Garabet holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Bucharest.
