Anastasia Makarova

Anastasia Makarova is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in immuno-oncology and pharmacology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Cerus since September 2022, Anastasia previously led the in vivo pharmacology team at Actym Therapeutics, Inc., where strategic partnerships bolstered preclinical initiatives. A strong academic background includes a Postdoctoral Degree in Cell Signaling from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a Ph.D. in Animal Physiology from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
