Houston Nguyen (Buddy)

Houston "Buddy" Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Houston "Buddy" began their career at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in 2010, where they worked as a Transfusion Safety Officer until 2013. Houston "Buddy" then joined Blood Systems Inc. as a Transfusion Safety Officer from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they work at Cerus, where they have held various roles. Houston "Buddy" started as a Hospital Implementation Director in 2016 and later became the Director of Hospital Engagement and Education in March 2020.

Houston "Buddy" Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Houston "Buddy" pursued their undergraduate studies at the university from 1994 to 1998.
