Phillip Dejarld

Phillip DeJarld is an experienced professional in device development and product formulation, currently serving as Associate Director of Device Development Disposables at Cerus since August 2018, with a history of progressive roles including Senior Manager and Device Development Engineer. Prior to Cerus, Phillip held a Senior Scientist position at Rodan + Fields, specializing in acne treatment technologies and sunscreen formulation. Additional experience includes roles as a Process Scientist at The Clorox Company, where Phillip applied Agile methodologies to enhance product development, as well as process engineering internships at ExxonMobil, Kimberly-Clark, and Brady Corporation, focusing on process optimization and product quality. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
