Matt Sterbutzel

Matt Sterbutzel is an experienced construction manager with a diverse background in project engineering and management. Currently serving as Construction Manager at CES Consulting LLC since May 2022, Sterbutzel oversees significant construction projects, including phase 2 of the Silver Line. Prior roles include Snr. Project Engineer at MTI Engineering and Testing Inc. and Snr. Construction Specialist at Jacobs, where responsibilities encompassed project oversight and management for key infrastructure developments. Previously, Sterbutzel worked as a Project Manager at CES Consulting LLC, managing a full bridge replacement project for VDOT, and as Station Manager/Superintendent at Bechtel Corporation, focusing on the Wiehle Ave Metro Station. An educated professional, Sterbutzel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, completed in 1997.
