Muhammad Abdullah Sohail is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in research and development, project management, and engineering design. Currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at CES Transformers since June 2025, Muhammad has held various leadership roles at Trench Group from January 2020 to June 2025, including Cost-Out Projects Manager and Research and Development Manager. Prior to this, experience at Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) as an Engineer in Material Standard & Specifications from April 2017 to December 2019 and at United Transformers Electric Company as an Engineering Manager from June 2009 to November 2016 contributed to a solid foundation in engineering. Muhammad’s career began at SIEMENS Pakistan Engineering Company Ltd. where Muhammad worked as a Sr. Executive Engineer from October 2001 to June 2009. Muhammad holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Power Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, completed in 2000.
