Amir Soleimanpour

Amir Soleimanpour, Ph.D., MBA, currently serves as the Director of Research and Development at Hoya Vision Care since July 2022. Prior to this role, Amir was the Director of Research and Advocacy at eyesafe, from February 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading standards development in collaboration with international partners and managing third-party research studies. Amir also held a position as Program Manager, focusing on project management and program performance assessment. From October 2013 to January 2019, Amir worked at Tru Vue as a Project Manager in R&D, overseeing early-stage product development and enhancing optical coatings. Amir's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo, an MBA from the UMN Carlson School of Management, and a Master's in Materials Science from Sharif University of Technology.
