Alessio Gelso

Alessio Gelso is a marine geologist currently employed at CESI SpA since November 2022. Previously, Alessio held the position of surveyor at MICOPERI Srl, where responsibilities included supervising gas pipeline positioning for ENI and monitoring underwater operations. Academically, Alessio pursued a master's degree at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna from 2019 to 2022, during which a project focused on landslide recognition in the Marecchia river basin was completed using web platforms and GIS tools. Prior experience includes various roles in volleyball coaching, starting as an instructor for youth teams to coaching higher-level competitive teams, as well as undertaking an internship at Geoprobe and serving as a driver during the 2018 Volleyball World Cup in Bologna. Educational qualifications include a diploma in surveying from I.T.G Pier Crescenzi Pacinotti.
