James Mcknight

Principal RF Engineer II at CesiumAstro

James Mcknight has had a long and varied career in engineering. James started as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Florida in 2007. In 2009, they became an RF/Microwave Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation. In 2016, they moved to The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a Senior Professional Staff. In 2017, they joined Parry Labs as a Senior Antenna Engineer. In 2019, they were hired by Raytheon as a Senior Principal Engineer. In 2022, they began working as a Principal RF Engineer II at CesiumAstro.

James Mcknight's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Engineering from Florida State University, obtained between 2000 and 2006. James then went on to obtain two Master of Science degrees from the University of South Florida and The Johns Hopkins University, both in Electrical Engineering, between 2007 and 2009, and 2013 and 2015 respectively. Prior to this, James Mcknight attended Jesuit High School.
