Suzana Soares Melo

Suzana Soares Melo serves as the Diretora Jurídica at APESC since July 2022 and as the Diretora de Relações Institucionais at CESA alongside being a board member for CESA/SC since January 2018. Melo is a Professor at Faculdade Cesusc, teaching in the Pós-Graduação em Direito Empresarial e Societário program since July 2017. As the Presidente do Conselho Científico for ASSET/SC from July 2022, and previously serving as President from July 2018 to June 2020, Melo has had a significant role in the organization. Additionally, Melo is a sócia at Cavallazzi, Andrey, Restanho & Araujo Advocacia, where there is a focus on consultivo and contencioso tributário matters. Melo's extensive teaching experience includes faculty positions at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and notable legal practice in various law firms since 2002. Academically, Melo holds a Doutorado in Direito Econômico, Financeiro e Tributário from USP and multiple advanced degrees in Tax Law and Management.
