Italo Mattia Spada

Italo Mattia Spada has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and design. ITALO MATTIA is currently working as a Project Coordinator for OpenDBL, a project under Horizon Europe. Prior to this, they served as the Head of New Technologies and Design Department at CETMA - Centro di Ricerche Europeo di Tecnologie Design e Materiali. ITALO MATTIA has also held the position of New Technologies and Design Department Director and Virtual, Augmented Reality, and Multimedia Area Manager at CETMA Consortium. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Visual Designer at STUDIO ATLANTIDE and Samsung European Design.

Italo Mattia Spada completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1998, they attended Buckinghamshire New University for Foundation Studies in Design Media and Management, completing their studies in 1999. Then, from 1999 to 2003, they pursued a BA (Honours) in Product Design at St. Martin's College.

Additionally, Italo Mattia Spada obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2005, they completed the CATIA V5 Modelling program at Koirè Srl in Naples, Italy. Following that, they obtained Autodesk Maya Foundation certification from Alias SGI Spa in Padova, Italy, in February 2006. Lastly, they advanced their animation skills by obtaining Autodesk Maya Advanced Animation certification from Alias/SGI Spa in Padova, Italy, in May 2007.
