Nikolay Markov

Nikolay Markov is an experienced media and communications professional with a strong focus on volleyball. Currently serving as a Press Delegate and Website Writer for the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball since July 2012, as well as a Communication Delegate and Media Officer for the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball since March 2011, Nikolay supervises press teams and media activities for major volleyball competitions. Additional roles include Communication Coordinator for Maritza Plovdiv VC and Media Manager for Chaka2 Event Management GmbH, with a solid background in writing press releases, managing social media, and overseeing media at events. Nikolay's previous experience spans various positions including Media Director for the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship, Editor for BGvolleyball.com, and roles in financial analysis. Nikolay holds an MBA/MPM joint degree in Finance and International Security and Economic Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Bridgeport.
