Kimberly Cantrell

Kimberly Cantrell joined iCEV as the Content Development Specialist before transitioning to the Business & Industry Partnerships Department as the Marketing & Communications Specialist. In March 2021, Cantrell returned to her roots in the Marketing Department to lead iCEV's creative team as the Director of Marketing. Growing up on the border of Texas and New Mexico, Cantrell says she has two hometowns, Texline, TX, and Clayton, NM. She earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural media and communications from West Texas A&M University and holds a master's degree from Texas Tech University in agricultural communications. Cantrell has experience in a variety of communications and marketing areas, including technical and feature writing, social media management, event planning, photography, and design.

Growing up in a rural area, Cantrell was involved in her family's farm and cattle operations. Through these experiences, as well as her involvement in 4-H and FFA, she developed a passion for the agriculture industry and science communication. Coming from a family of teachers, she also has a strong appreciation for those involved in the field of education, especially Career & Technical Education.
