Jean Laurent

Jean Laurent is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in public law, constitutional law, and administrative law. Serving as a Partner and Head of Public Law at CEW & Partners since April 2007, Jean is also involved in various organizations, including membership in the Public Law Commission at the Barreau de Bruxelles since October 1997 and as a board member of the Association francophone des Sciences de l'Administration et de la Gestion publiques since October 2023. Additional roles include membership in the Public Law Commission at AVOCATS.BE and as an administrator at Prométhéa, which supports cultural and heritage patronage in Belgium. Jean's legal career commenced with a trainee position at Uyttendaele in 1997, followed by positions at CAMBIER Avocats and Wery Legal. Jean holds a Licence en droit from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Certificate in Legal Studies from the University of Aberdeen.
