Keerthi Samarasinghe

Keerthi Samarasinghe has extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, particularly with the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since August 2009, where roles have included Chief Engineer (Indents) and Electrical Project Engineer. Responsibilities have encompassed processing purchase orders, managing foreign procurements, and coordinating approvals for spare parts and international freight for hydro power stations. Keerthi has also served as Engineer in Charge at Samanala Power Station, overseeing technical, administrative, and financial activities for a 90MW facility. Earlier experience includes a position as an Electrical Engineer at Bharti Airtel Lanka, focused on electrical installations at telecommunications towers. Keerthi holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, in addition to earlier education in Mathematics from Nalanda College Colombo.
