Lasith Rathnayake

Lasith Rathnayake is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in dam safety, environmental engineering, and construction. Currently employed at the Ceylon Electricity Board since September 2016, Lasith has worked on significant projects including the inspection and rehabilitation of hydroelectric dams and the design of civil structures. Prior to this role, Lasith served as a Project Engineer at Central Engineering Services Private Limited and as a Site Engineer at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, contributing to large-scale construction projects such as hospitals and educational facilities. Lasith holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing an MSc in Water and Environmental Engineering at the University of Peradeniya.
