Sameera Jayasekara

Sameera Jayasekara is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a diverse background in electrical design, project management, and engineering consulting. Currently employed at Ceylon Electricity Board since March 2020, Sameera specializes in reviewing and updating technical specifications for transmission networks and executing procurement processes. Previously, roles included Electrical Engineer at Greentech Engineering Consultants, where significant contributions were made in electrical design for low voltage installations, and Project Engineer positions at APS Lanka and EMP Projects, handling comprehensive project planning, execution, and supervision. Sameera holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and has gained valuable experience as a trainee at Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC. Notable achievements include the development of a standardized specification for transmission equipment and the design of the LV Electrical system for the Faculty of Medicine at Wayamba University.
