Sampath Bandara

Sampath Bandara is an experienced electrical professional with a solid background in various roles within the electrical engineering field. Currently serving as an Electrical Superintendent at Ceylon Electricity Board since July 2016, Sampath previously worked at Ewis Peripherals (Pvt) Ltd. as an Assistant Engineer for Power Solutions, where responsibilities included UPS product management, installation, commissioning, and the design of solar on-grid net-metering systems. Additional experience includes a position as Assistant Engineer at Etisalat Lanka, where Sampath focused on diagnosing and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment. Early career development involved roles as a trainee at Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka and a Technical Officer at ZTE. Sampath holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
