Uthpala Thotabaduge

Uthpala Thotabaduge is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since July 2015, focusing on power distribution system maintenance. Prior to this role, Uthpala served as an Engineer Trainee at Schneider Electric, engaging in solar, switch gear, and ELV solutions. Previous experience includes a position as Industrial Relationship Manager at IETYP University of Moratuwa and an Engineer Intern role at Balfour Beatty Ceylon (Private) Limited, specializing in high voltage substations protection and control system design. Uthpala holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, along with an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA. Educational background also includes completion of studies at Devi Balika Vidyalaya.
