Ushan Gunasekera

Ushan Gunasekera has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. In 2013, they began their career as a Trainee Marketing Executive at hSenid Business Solutions, where they worked until June 2014. In 2014, they joined ReadMe Sri Lanka as a Photographer and stayed until December 2015. Ushan then moved on to Sysco LABS Sri Lanka in July 2015, where they served as a Marketing Associate until November 2016. Starting from August 2015, they also became the Official Photographer for TEDxColombo and continued in that role until July 2019.

Ushan then joined Novitat Media in July 2017 as a Social Media & Content Manager until February 2019. Ushan's next role was at Sparks Innovations (Pvt) Ltd., where they served as a Digital Media Executive from July 2019 to December 2020 and then transitioned to the role of a Social Media Executive, which they held until January 2021. Currently, Ushan is employed as a Digital Creative Specialist at Dilmah Tea, starting in January 2021.

Ushan Gunasekera completed their Primary & Secondary Education at Colombo South International College in Kalubowila. From 1998 to 2010, they attended this school but did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during this time. Later, from 2011 to 2015, Ushan Gunasekera attended the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) in Colombo 06. There, they obtained a BSc(Hons) in Information Systems with Business Management, focusing on the field of Information Systems with Business Management.
