Pawel Ostafijczuk

Pawel Ostafijczuk is a seasoned professional in the energy trading sector, currently serving as a Senior Natural Gas Trader at ČEZ since July 2018, where responsibilities include the development of proprietary trading strategies and trading across various major energy markets. Previously, Pawel held the position of Retail Portfolio Manager at Gazprom Marketing & Trading from March 2011 to July 2018, consistently exceeding financial targets and contributing to the development of an in-house risk management system. Earlier experience includes roles as Trading Assistant at Gazprom Marketing & Trading and Commodities Trade Support Analyst at JP Morgan, where Pawel managed trade support and reconciliation processes. An internship at State Street provided foundational experience in foreign exchange and money market trading. Pawel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Surrey, obtained in 2010.
