Joseph Simonian

Joseph Simonian, Ph.D., currently serves as a member of the Technical Committee at CFA Institute and is a co-editor of The Journal of Financial Data Science, as well as an editorial board member for The Journal of Portfolio Management. As Chief Investment Strategist at Scientific Beta, Joseph leads strategic investment initiatives. In January 2020, Joseph founded Autonomous Investment Technologies LLC, providing AI and machine learning consulting services to the financial industry. Joseph is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen and the Chairman and Program Director at FDP Institute. Previous experience includes senior roles at Causality Link, Acadian Asset Management, Natixis Investment Managers, and Fidelity Investments. Joseph holds a Ph.D. from UC Santa Barbara, as well as degrees from Columbia University and UCLA.
