Samuel Kevin Atchison

Samuel Kevin Atchison is a Senior Affiliate at the University of Pennsylvania's Common Ground for Common Good (C2G2) project, actively engaged in fostering constructive dialogue on contentious church-state issues. With extensive experience in various roles, including Non-Resident Senior Fellow and Independent Researcher, Atchison has contributed scholarly work on poverty, crime, and community relations, notably publishing a monograph titled "Flashpoint: The Church and Law Enforcement in Poor Black and White Communities." Atchison's leadership roles include serving as President of the Trenton Ecumenical Area Ministry and Community Partnership Manager at the Philadelphia Leadership Foundation, where partnerships were established to support youth mentoring initiatives. A seasoned consultant and director in chaplaincy services, Atchison's academic background includes a Doctor of Ministry (ABD) in Ethnicity and Racial Justice from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
