Arthur Fliegelman, CFA, is a seasoned financial analyst with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Office of Financial Research within the U.S. Treasury Department since December 2014, Fliegelman specializes in publishing research, monitoring systemic risks, and collaborating with insurance regulators. As Chair of the CFA Society New York Financial Analysis and Reporting Committee since July 2012, Fliegelman leads discussions on financial reporting issues, including ESG and cryptocurrency reporting. Previous roles include Program Manager at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, where responsibilities included publishing newsletters and special reports for state regulators, and Vice President & Senior Credit Officer at Moody's Investors Service, managing credit ratings for major life insurance companies.
