Matthew Liu

Matthew Liu is an experienced aerospace engineer currently employed at CFD Research Corporation since May 2023, having previously worked at Leidos from July 2021 to April 2023. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, obtained in 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Purdue University, earned in 2019. Additional experiences consist of research assistance and grading at Purdue University, participation in the AFRL Scholars Program as a RDLE Phillips Scholar, and serving as a student supervisor at Purdue Dining and Catering. Key competencies include computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using Loci/chem, gridding in Pointwise, and data analysis in Tecplot, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Cantera for fuel property research conducted during the Wright Scholar program at the Air Force Research Laboratory.
