Sophie D'Hauwe has a diverse range of work experience in the field of ICT infrastructure and management. Sophie started their career in 2000 at the Belgian Defence, where they served as a Network Manager and Officer. Sophie then moved on to work at the University of Massachusetts as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, focusing on networking technologies and designing prototypes for incident management. In 2010, Sophie joined bpost as a Senior Infrastructure Architect and Senior ICT Innovation Architect, where they developed strategies for network and communication designs. Sophie later worked at BICS as a Network Engineering Manager, leading a team in charge of worldwide networks. Sophie then became the Network and IT Architecture Manager, overseeing the development of infrastructure vision and roadmap. From 2019 to 2023, Sophie worked at NTT Ltd. as a Senior Transformational Consultant, advising clients on project realization and leading solution architecture. Currently, they are the Head of ICT Infrastructure, Security & Support at CFE, managing a team and contributing to the development and implementation of the company's ICT strategy.
Sophie D'Hauwe completed a Master's degree in Telecommunication from Université libre de Bruxelles from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Civil Engineering (polytechnic) degree in Telecommunications from Royal Military Academy, Belgium between 1995 and 2000.
