Simon Parkins

Simon Parkins is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various senior finance roles across multiple sectors, particularly in construction and project management. Currently serving as a part-time Chief Finance Officer at The CFO Centre UK since January 2018, Simon provides high-caliber financial leadership to growing businesses. Previous positions include Finance Director for PCL, contract roles with John Laing and J. Murphy & Sons Limited, and Finance Director for Connect Plus Services within the Balfour Beatty joint venture. Simon’s career also includes significant contributions as Financial Controller at prominent firms such as Kier Group and Sir Robert McAlpine. Simon holds a BA Honours degree in Accounting & Management Science from De Montfort University and is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
