Frank Waung

Frank Waung is a director in the firm’s Healthcare practice. In addition, Frank also has significant experience in Technology and M&A areas. He has over twelve years of senior financial management experience, with skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, Acquisitions, Internal Controls and various financial responsibilities.

Frank served as the CFO of a publicly listed generic drug maker with responsibilities of financial management as well as investor relations management. Later he served as the CFO for an IT Services company in Asia with over one billion dollars in revenue, also publicly listed. He conducted a $50 mln cross-border M&A transaction during his tenure with the IT Services firm.

More recently, Frank served as the interim CFO for a chain of eye-care medical/consumer stores funded by a private equity firm.

Frank brings a broad array of financial and business experiences to a management team, including the understanding of the dynamic interplays amongst the corporate stakeholders: the management team, the shareholders, the financial auditors, and attorneys. Prior to joining the corporate, Frank worked on Wall Street for over 15 years.

Frank earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of California at Santa Cruz and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
