Joseph VonEhr

Joseph (Joe) VonEhr supports the firm’s M&A Exit Planning and Transaction Advisory Services, as well as, CFO Advisory in the technology, manufacturing, CPG and BPO segments. He has over twenty-five years of M&A, financial and operational experience, both domestically and internationally. During his 12 years at Xerox and in earlier CFO roles, Joe had M&A responsibility for the buy-side transaction process for strategic and tactical acquisitions including target identification, valuation, full due diligence, contract negotiations and pre-integration planning, as well as, supporting sell side/divestment engagements including CIM development and TSA negotiation. Joe also has a mix of large and mid-sized company CFO experience at iconic companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, GE, Singer and Hercules Chemical where he led all traditional CFO functions including GAAP reporting, cost accounting, treasury (cash, debt, credit and FX), FP&A, IT, tax, and internal audit.

Joe’s CFO experience has always focused around the CFO’s role as a strategic partner to the CEO, as well as, to other functional heads and with cross-functional teams. This partnership with operations was honed during both interim general management assignments and while leading major logistics/go-to-market reorganizations at Colgate-Palmolive and Xerox. He has consistently helped drive organic and inorganic growth, created meaningful KPI’s and improved ST and LT cash flow and operational forecasts. He is accustomed to change management whether through continuous process improvements, or more urgent bankruptcy and downsizing restructurings.

Joe started his career with Price Waterhouse where he audited a mix of Fortune 100 companies and smaller closely-held clients involved in such diverse industries as government contracting, manufacturing, apparel, utilities, services and non-profit. He also provided advisory services including financial due diligence, CIM development and other while at PW.

Joe has a BA in History from Fairfield University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. Joe received his CPA (currently inactive) from the State of Connecticut.
