James Patterson

James Patterson, MBA has over 25 years of work experience in finance and accounting. James is currently serving as the Director at CFO Systems, where they provide financial and human resources leadership on a fractional, interim, part-time, and project-based basis for companies of all sizes. Prior to this role, James held the position of Vice President of Finance at Unite Private Networks from September 2018 to August 2021. James also served as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the same company from February 2018 to September 2018.

Earlier in their career, James worked as the Project Finance Manager for the Global Facilities Practice at Burns & McDonnell from 2015 to 2017. James also has experience as the Regional Finance Manager for the Eastern Region of Varco Pruden Buildings at BlueScope Buildings North America from 2008 to 2015.

Before joining BlueScope Buildings, James worked as a Senior Accounting Analyst at Archer Daniels Midland from 1998 to 2008. Prior to that, they held the position of Plant Accountant at Fedders North America from 1997 to 1998. James began their career as a Staff Accountant at West Suburban Medical Center, where they worked from 1994 to 1997.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated expertise in financial management, financial planning and analysis, project finance, and accounting. James holds an MBA degree and is well-equipped to provide strategic financial guidance to companies.

James Patterson, MBA, received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University. James went on to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Kansas School of Business, which they completed in 2011.
