K. Dane Snowden

K. Dane Snowden currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at CFP Board, starting in November 2023. Prior to this role, Snowden was a Senior Advisor at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP from December 2022 to November 2023 and previously held the position of President & CEO at Internet Association from February 2021 to April 2022, where advocacy for public policies promoting innovation and a free internet was paramount. Snowden's extensive background includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association from 2011 to January 2021, overseeing significant budgetary and operational responsibilities. At CTIA - The Wireless Association from 2005 to 2011, Snowden built the External & State Affairs Department. Earlier experience includes leadership at the FCC, where appointment to the Senior Executive Service Level occurred under President George W. Bush, and impactful roles at MissionFish and America's Promise. Snowden earned a BA in Political Science and Government from William & Mary.
