Morgan Bates has over 20 years of work experience. In 1996, they were the Head of Return Material Authorization Department at IET of Kansas, where they troubleshot and analyzed returned merchandise for root cause failure, created and implemented an MS Access database to track and manage transactions for RMA, and identified $100,000+ lost in the RMA process. From 2000 to 2003, they were an Inside Sales Eng at Aware, Inc., where they served as the primary contact point for the Technical support of the Veritas Digital Subscriber Line for both pre and post technical sales activities, was involved in all stages of product creation to post sales support, and created an MS Access history tracking system and evaluation tools to streamline the returns process. From 2003 to 2008, they were the Sr. Business Intelligence/Data Analytics at Rockwell Collins, where they created the vision for predictive analytics, developed the requirements, chose the solution, created the implementation architecture, and deployed it successfully, as well as found a flaw in the mobility solution that resulted in a $500k return. From 2008 to 2014, they were the Data Analyst at CivicPlus, where they created the architecture for sales pursuit of ‘sweet spot’ customer and smaller, more effective sales territories worth several million in increased sales over a three year horizon, improved the contractual conditions for the CivicHR division, created the sales commission structure, and proposed two alternative business ventures that could be significant sources of revenue over the next several years. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Business Intelligence at CFS Insight.

Morgan Bates received a BS in Political Science from Kansas State University in 2000. In addition, they obtained an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
