Majorie Chalwe-Mulenga is a Financial Sector Specialist at CGAP (World Bank) since September 2020, focusing on building inclusive financial ecosystems. Previous experience includes serving as a Financial Sector Analyst and Associate for Financial Sector Development Programs at the Bank of Zambia, where responsibilities encompassed implementing national financial inclusion strategies and assessing non-bank financial institutions. Prior to this, Majorie worked at FNB Zambia as a Compliance Manager and Project Manager, and gained initial experience as a Risk and Finance/Consumer Credit Consultant at Bayport Financial Services. Majorie holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from The Copperbelt University, supplemented by education from Case Western Reserve University and Henley Business School.
