Raul Gutierrez

Raul Gutierrez is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the exploration sector, currently serving as a Geologist at CGC since February 2023. Previously, Raul worked as an Exploration Geologist on the Mexico Exploration Team at Tecpetrol from June 2019 to January 2023, focusing on evaluating exploration prospects in the Burgos Basin. Prior to that, Raul spent eight years at Pluspetrol as an Exploration Geologist, concentrating on heavy oil shallow plays in the Northern Neuquen Basin, Argentina. Additional experience includes a role at ExxonMobil in project support for seismic and well information management, and as a Geologist at GMTI Geo-Microbial Technologies International overseeing geochemical sampling. Raul holds a specialization in Lithium Geosciences and Technologies from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a degree in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán.
