Matthew Holmes has extensive experience in emergency management, fire safety, and leadership roles. Matthew started their career in 1993 as a Lieutenant in the Crockery Twp Fire Department and went on to work as a Firefighter/Equipment Operator for the United States Forestry Services/Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Matthew also served as a Confined Space Technician for the City of Muskegon and later became a Captain for WSLLC Fire & Emergency Services.

In 2010, Matthew joined ITT Systems as a Fire Prevention Specialist and then moved on to ITT Corporation, where they worked as a Fire Crew Chief/Operations Supervisor. Matthew briefly worked at Teng & Associates as a Fire Safety Chief before joining CGH Global Emergency Management Strategies LLC in 2011 as the Chief Operations Officer, where they utilized their experience and history of success to gain contracts for emergency management, training, and mentoring. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated their ability to oversee operations, conduct training, and ensure the quality of work.

Matthew Holmes received a Bachelor's Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from Eastern Kentucky University from 2007 to 2010. Matthew also obtained a Certification in Fire Science from TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, Department of Defense from 2005 to 2009, as well as a Certification in Fire Science from the State of Michigan from 1988 to 2009.
