Haris Ahmad has worked in the finance industry since 2009. Haris began their career as an Assistant Accountant at Woodgates Chartered Certified Accountants, where they worked closely with the partner and used Iris Accounting software for accounts production, payroll, and tax. From 2011 to 2012, Haris worked as an Assistant Accountant at Malik & Co, and as a Finance Assistant at Simple Self Storage, where they managed the day-to-day financial admin of the company and proactively dealt with issues. From 2012 to 2014, Haris worked as an Assistant Financial Accountant and Financial Accountant at Ffrees Family Finance Ltd., where they set up new processes for finance, HR, and facilities from scratch. From 2014 to 2021, Haris worked as a Finance Manager and Head of Finance at U Account, where they were the number one in finance in the business and reported directly to the COO for the digital side of the group and the Group Finance Director. Since 2021, Haris has worked as a Finance Business Partner at Shelby Finance Limited, and as a Financial Analyst and Finance Manager at CGHero and BrightHR, respectively.

Haris Ahmad began their educational journey in 2004, when they attended Beauchamp College. Haris then went on to pursue a degree in Accounting and Financial Management at The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009. In 2014, they obtained an ACCA certification from ACCA.
