Michael Zakarias has extensive experience in technology and consulting, currently serving as Director of Consulting & Enterprise/Cloud Architect at CGI since December 2003. In this role, Michael is responsible for developing the CGI IP CommunityCare360, ensuring its compliance with international market requirements, security, privacy, and medical device certifications. Michael also has a background as a Technical Project Manager and IT architect for EHR systems, focusing on resource and project management as well as system maintenance. Prior to CGI, Michael founded Zakarias Consulting and LinkSoft Aps, delivering solutions in telecom software and web development. Earlier career experience includes consulting at Ericsson, developing telecom products and integrating legacy systems. Michael holds a Cand.IT degree in Software Development from IT-Universitetet i København and a Bachelor of Engineering in Management and Construction from the Engineering College of Aarhus.
