Thomas Schend

Thomas Schend started their work experience as an IT-Systemadministrator at Lion Electronics International in 2003. Thomas then worked as the Leiter IT-Intern at systema Deutschland GmbH from 2006 to 2010. After that, in 2010, they joined CompuGroup Medical AG as the Principal Systems Architect. Most recently, in 2016, they became the Vice President Group IT Platform at CompuGroup Medical SE.

Thomas Schend obtained a degree in Fachinformatiker Systemintegration from Netsquare AG in the years 2001-2003. Thomas also obtained several certifications including Azure fundamentals from Microsoft, Certified OpenStack Administrator from the Linux Foundation, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Azure Solutions Architecture Expert, all obtained in 2022.
