Paul Gantt

Paul Gantt has extensive experience in safety engineering and fire services, currently serving as Safety Engineer, President, and Founder at SCM Safety since 1991. Prior to this role, Paul worked for California Fire Service from March 1978 to July 1992, holding various positions including Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Captain, Fire Training Officer, Fire Marshal, and Chief Officer across four fire agencies. Paul Gantt's academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Ph.D. in Multidisciplinary Human Services from Capella University, a Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, and an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Solano College.
